Stuff just makes sense. I’m not waiting for an issue to ‘pop-up’. I don’t have to worry when I hit submit anymore.

About Stephensons Solicitors LLP

Stephensons is an award-winning, highly respected, nationally recognised law firm providing individuals, businesses, and government organisations with a wide range of first-class legal services, with over 250 employees distributed across the UK.

What we did for them

Stephensons Solicitors had been with their previous supplier for over seven years. With their HR team looking to make a change, it was time for payroll to make a change too. After years of struggling with misalignment across payroll and HR data, poor reporting, and miscalculations on important holiday pay and entitlements for leavers, it was time to transition.

When asked which of Moorepay’s many features they loved the most, here’s what they said:

  • Overtime: Previously, the payroll department had to deliver this in blocks. With the help of Moorepay’s software, employees can now do overtime and submit their hours whenever and wherever they are, without having to wait until the end of the week, month, or the next pay run.
  • Reports: Stephensons wasted countless hours bogged down in Excel. They love that reports can now be exported, manipulated, and sent quickly to other departments as and when needed—in the format they require.
  • Online payslips: The ability for employees to view their payslips as soon as they’re available has removed the need for their payroll department to validate and send out payslips. This allows them to focus on running an accurate and timely payroll, rather than on repetitive administrative tasks.

It’s straight forward and easy-to-use. Stuff just makes sense. I’m not waiting for an issue to ‘pop-up’ I don’t have to worry when I hit submit anymore.
