Supporting employees with the cost of living crisis

May 2022

With inflation at a 30-year high and household bills continuing to rise, many employees are worried about their finances and are looking to their employers for support.

Whilst wages have risen in recent months, in many cases they’ve failed to keep pace with escalating prices. Join this webinar where we’ll discuss how you can help your employees make their wages go further.

In addition, a recent poll conducted by the CIPD found that financial insecurity is having a knock-on effect on performance at work. So, we’ll also examine how you can support employees with their mental health.

With more than a quarter of respondents saying money problems affected their job performance and a fifth saying money worries affected their sleep it’s not something employers can ignore.

We will also have a Q&A session at the end with Michelle Hobson our HR Services Director.

What we cover:

  • How the cost-of-living crisis is affecting individuals across the UK

  • Combatting in-work poverty

  • The importance of a financial wellbeing policy

  • How employee benefits can help to ease the burden of the crisis

  • Supporting employees who are suffering from financial anxiety

  • The business benefits of supporting employees through the cost-of-living crisis

  • Q&A at the end
